Does one recite "Asher Yatzar" on Shabbat? Reply

in response to J:

Yes, day and time is irrelevant to this blessing. It is dependant on whether or not someone has used the bathroom and relieved oneself. Hope that helps :) Reply

To know that this is what happens if we lose the way and that the soul can be restored, well I miss happy and as grateful as I can possibly be. Thank you 🙏 Reply

The asher yatzar in my Tehillat Hashem side is slightly different. I've memorized it, but I'd like a print to hang outside the bathroom. Is it possible to get one? Reply

Rachel Baltimore, USA February 7, 2024
in response to Chani:

When I became baalit teshuva, I found an illuminated copy of the prayer and printed it out, then framed and hung near the bathroom! I found it using an internet search on "asher yatzar" images.

There are a couple of versions of the prayer. The one I say is a bit different from the Chabad version.

So glad to be a Torah Jew now, and say brachot throughout the day! We can create new habits, even in old age (like I am)! Reply

Lyrics included? I purchased the CD download on Wed & I love it! I was wondering if you might make available the written versions to all the tracks so beginners can read while they sing? That would help me immensely! I've tried to come back here and copy/paste the ones you have here, but like this, not all of them have the words.
Thanks you for this wonderful resource! Reply

If you pick up a copy of the Tehillas Hashem siddur, it has all the prayers. It comes in book form and also as an app. Reply
